2024 marked our first foray into live esports media, with The Versus Festival, capturing India’s fighting game scene across multiple games and cities.
From promos and highlight edits to live, on-the-fly edits during competitions, we’ve built a media library that’s now seen by over 1 million people on Instagram, bringing arcade battles, cosplay, and anime culture straight to fans.
Our work at Japan Habba 2025 set the stage for what came next: The Versus Experience at Anime India Mumbai, where real-time edits, reels, and stories amplified the energy of the expo as it happened, letting the live and digital experiences feed off each other.
Our first promo for Japan Habba 2025 was a VFX-filled sneak peek into what our arcades would offer.

On show day, we handled live coverage, capturing the intensity of button-mashing competitions, cosplayers, pro players, and the casual crowd; all while producing reels and stories in real time to showcase the festival’s energy.

Next, The Versus Experience made its debut at The Big Picnik sundowner festival in Chennai. I directed and filmed content across multiple arcade stations, choreographing shots around the action and syncing them to a curated indie-electro soundtrack by Focus Group Soundsystem and MADM. The resulting reels captured the energy and engagement of the festival while keeping each story visually dynamic.

Building on the workflows from Japan Habba 2025 and Big Picnik, we expanded The Versus Experience for India’s first full-fledged anime expo in Mumbai. Here, I implemented a structured content pipeline; live edits, highlight reels, and social-first stories were produced and published in near real-time, balancing quality and speed to reflect the festival’s dynamic atmosphere and the community’s enthusiasm.
